Kasenga ward councilor Kennedy Sakala has urged government to address the issue of the early distribution of farming inputs in the 2022 2023 farming season.

Speaking to feel free news via a telephone interview this morning Mr. Sakala says this year a lot of farmers have cried as Neria Investment Company failed to deliver the inputs on time.

Mr. Sakala says it will be of great importance to work with companies that will be able to deliver the inputs on Time.

Meanwhile, in another development Chipangali town council chairperson Maxson Kamungu Nkhoma says all the Farmers that did not receive their farming inputs will all receive by Thursday.

He says he had a meeting with the Minister of agriculture Hon. Reuben Mtolo Phiri who assured him that Farmers Will get input by Thursday.

Mr. Nkhoma has since appealed to all the officers involved in the management of the farmer input support program FISP not to be corrupt and work on professional standards.

Meanwhile, last month some officers we’re arrested by Zambia Police in Connection of stealing fertilizer which is under the farmer input support program FISP in Chipangali district and Kasenengwa district.
