Lions are said to have continued terrorizing villages in Ncheka and chikowa wards of Malambo constituency of Mambwe District.
The development has seen people now living in fear calling on the department of national parks and wildlife to move in quickly and protect people’s lives.
Former Chikowa ward councilor Benson Mvula has expressed worry stating that the most affected villages are Lelani, Kasongo and Clemensio Farms along chikowa catholic diocesan premises.
Mr Mvula says that even school going children have stopped going to school in fear of the beasts.
