Lukusuzi Primary School Head teacher in Rukuzye ward of Chipangali district has called upon the Ministry of education to establish a grade 7 examination center at the school.

Andrew Phiri has told Feel Free news in an exclusive interview that pupils have difficulties to travel from Kaleza and Lukusuzi primary schools to Dwankhozi center for examinations.

Mr. Phiri says the long distances are a hindrance especially to the girl child who is at risk of falling prey to sexual predators.

The head teacher has since appealed to the office of the District Education Board Secretary to set up an examination centre to cushion the impact suffered by the learners.

MEANWHILE, Jacob Lungu who is also headman Mtayamo has appealed to the area councilor Precious Maliro Gondwe to solicit for the improvement of the road network in the area.

He notes that developed roads are key in enhancing economic and social growth.
