Political party candidates vying for the Kasenengwa parliamentary seat have promised to uplift the living standards of the people in different sectors of the economy once voted into power after the August 12th polls.

Patriotic front PF candidate Philimon Twasa promised to continue with the developmental projects left by his predecessor Sensio Banda.

Mr. Twasa also says that lack of clean and safe drinking water in most villages is one of the major challenges that people have been complaining and promised to drill more boreholes to avert the situation.

And united party for national development UPND candidate beauty Undi pledged to improve the education sector, entrepreneurship skills among other under the leadership of their party president Hakainde Hichilema once they assume power.

Meanwhile another Candidate Charles Banda also indicated that he will ensure that he lobby for more empowerment programs for youth and women clubs.

Mr. Banda also added that poor road network is another area of concern that needs to be looked at.

Yesterday 12 candidates successfully filed in their fresh nominations papers for the Kasenengwa parliamentary seat following the death of UPND candidate Titus Miti.
