Yo Maps Wins Big at Ngoma Awards, Shames Disciplinary Committee

Zambia’s biggest Afro Pop star “Yo Maps” yesterday made History at the Ngoma Awards held in Lusaka. The singer bagged 3 awards at the Award Ceremony graced by Minister of Youths & Sports Hon. Elvis Nkandu.

Yo Maps won awards for Song of The Year (Mr Romantic), Album Of the Year (Komando) and Outstanding Musician of the Year. The singer shamed the so called disciplinary committee who were not given a chance to vote in this music awards. Ngoma Awards are strictly adjudicated by Judges and do not offer an opportunity for fans to vote.

The Aweah hitmaker also had a sold out show yesterday in Namibia and the singer continues to push his music across borders.
