Chipata, Zambia – The countdown to one of Eastern Province’s most celebrated music events has officially begun. The Organizing Committee of the Eastern Province Music Awards (EPMA) has released the much-anticipated nominees list for the 2024/2025 edition.
Now in its 5th edition, the EPMA continues to shine a spotlight on the region’s musical talent, recognizing artists whose creativity and dedication have kept the industry thriving. The nominees were carefully compiled in collaboration with local radio stations across the province, with support from various media houses.
This year’s awards once again feature district-based categories, a unique approach that ensures artists from all corners of Eastern Province are acknowledged for their artistry and contribution to music production.
Speaking during the unveiling, the Organizing Committee emphasized that the awards are not just about celebration but also about setting higher standards in the music industry while motivating upcoming and established artists alike.
“Congratulations to all the nominees. To those who didn’t make it this year—keep working hard. The future still has room for you,” the statement read.
Music fans will now play their part as voting opens on Saturday, 27th September 2025, and runs until 20th October 2025. Fans can cast their votes for their favorite artists by visiting the official website: epmawards.com.
