Zambians have been called upon not to listen to people that preach tribal remarks and hate speech during their campaigns aimed at tarnishing the image of other tribes.
In an exclusive interview, united party for national development UPND deputy national chairperson Andrew Banda says that the party is aware of some few politicians who have continued issuing tribal remarks against the UPND party.
Mr. Banda says that tribal remarks in a democratic country like Zambia should not be condoned as it has the potential to divide the country and cause chaos.
He says that people should not listen to such people as they do not mean well to well the one Zambia-one nation slogan as preached by the founding father.
The UPND deputy national chairperson has since clarified people of Zambia are one as they have embraced inter-marriages in different parts of the country.
